A SMC and DMC compound manufacturing plant ::: Customised composites

At CME, we tailor our sheet moulding compounds(SMC) and dough moulding compounds
(DMC) to meet the specified property requirements. By varying glass content and other
essential raw materials we can control the individual characteristics of the material to guarantee
an ideal solution for the intended application. What’s more, because we do it all from one location,
we can respond quickly to changes in customer requirements.

Compression moulding equipment ::: High-volume value

With the largest compression plant in Australia, we can produce a wide range of parts large and
small, for volumes in excess of 300,000 parts per year. One of the major advantages of composite materials is tooling - it can be modified to accommodate necessary changes in the design stage.
This flexibility ensures the CME composite solution maintains an enormous cost advantage over
that of other materials and processes.

GMT facility ::: Easy access to the latest technologies

Operating since early 2005, this is the only facility of its kind in the Asia Pacific region. It has the
ability to output high-quality products with exceptional energy absorbing and impact characteristics, combined with weight reducing properties unequalled by traditional materials.

Paint plant ::: final finishes

Providing a complete solution is our main objective. Our subsidiary, CME Coatings, is
equipped with the necessary machinery and expertise to provide a quality surface finish
to the manufactured parts.
