Composite Materials Engineering (CME) is a specialist composites business. All of our products are manufactured
in Australia, at our headquarters in Melbourne. We formulate, manufacture and compression mould long glass fiber composite materials. Our philosophy is to be the leader in composite materials and to develop the technology to ensure our customer receives the most up to date technology available.

We have three manufacturing plants offering turnkey solutions that are developed in collaboration with major industry sectors. These solutions incorporate design, testing, compounding, moulding, finishing, painting and assembly.

Our facilities are complemented by our technical support services, which include a materials laboratory,
an engineering team, with CAD systems and tooling design expertise.

CME focuses primarily in the automotive, building, electrical and food industries, using the
following technologies:

• SMC - Sheet moulding compound
• DMC - Dough moulding compound
• GMT - Glass mat thermoplastic

Our quality systems are based around the automotive industry with all sites holding
TS-16949, Ford Q1 and ISO 14001 quality certification.

an engineered solution to meet our customers’ expectation.
